My name is Erin, and I am a homeschooling mommy of two sweet little girls. M is six, and she always has a plan! E is four, and she keeps us laughing!

The title of my blog, Closing Time, came from a lullaby that my husband, Phil, wrote. In the evenings, when it’s closing time for little eyes, the atmosphere in our home changes. Once the kids are tucked cozily into their beds, the lights are dimmed, and the toys are put away (most of the time). It is the one time of day that I can sit down for a moment and really relax. That is what this blog is, an opportunity to just sit down and have a moment to write and share my heart with you!

I want Closing Time to be a place you can come to be uplifted and encouraged. I want you to know you are not alone. Sometimes my posts may be funny and lighthearted, and sometimes they may not. I want to be honest and real, and sometimes that means there will be bumps in the road and dark days. We all have them. But I want you to know that whatever kind of day you are having, there is hope. My prayer is that you experience the hope I have found in God.
