It’s nice to feel comfortable. Often I yearn for it. I think we all do.

Sometimes the opportunity presents itself. It’s so close you can almost touch it. You could stay right where you are, with things as they are, and create a comfortable life. Not a life without bumps, but a relatively comfortable one nonetheless.

But there’s more.

Deep inside, you can feel it. It pulls. It calls.

It says, go beyond.

You know God has called you to something more. Walking out the beyond takes courage, diligence, faith. It’s taking the challenging road when the smooth is staring you in the face.

And in that moment, you must decide.

I choose to go beyond.
