I had a great blogging idea last November. I decided it would bring some clarity to my life if I separated my homeschooling posts from Closing Time. So I started a brand new blog, Homeschool Java.
Then something unexpected happened. My tiny little business, Insight Blog Design, began to blossom. It grew and grew (and continues to grow). With that change came a necessary shift in priorities and time. Less time to write, more time to focus on the business. And I love it!
I love writing too though, and I have tried to come up with a way to do both, to maintain my two little blogs and hopefully see them flourish as well. Yesterday, I arrived at a conclusion that I believe is the Lord’s direction and solution.
It is time for Homeschool Java as a full-fledged blog to end. You all know that homeschooling is a big part of my life, and that isn’t going to change anytime soon! I will be introducing a weekly “Homeschool Java” post here at Closing Time. It will be my opportunity to share our homeschooling journey with you. My homeschool reviews will be posted here again as well.
The rest of the time, I will continue with my typical Closing Time type posts. It has been a long time since I have written much, but my hope is that I can find my writing groove again, and that the words that emerge will bring some encouragement to your day.
If you have found your way here via Homeschool Java today, I hope you’ll stick around! You can subscribe via RSS feed, subscribe by email, or follow via Google Friend Connect in the sidebar.
I plan to keep both of my Facebook pages. Homeschool Java on Facebook and Closing Time on Facebook. If you haven’t connected with me there, please “like” those pages and say hi!
